"Transforming therapy through the healing powers of water"

So what is Aquatic Psychotherapy?

This is a term Sandra coined that describes the healing power of water and how it can be combined with various psychotherapeutic approaches to promote mental health healing. Think of it as your therapist using their favorite therapeutic approaches and 'just add water' to enhance the psychological processing, amplify emotions, and promote quicker healing to achieve a 'Blue Mind' that lasts and adds a little splash to your therapy.

For therapists interested in training opportunities:

Sandra helps therapists integrate water therapy into their existing psychotherapy practices so they can step beyond the office, reduce burnout, and create a fresh income stream. By combining evidence-based therapy with the healing power of water, she guides professionals to stand out, feel renewed, and offer transformative experiences for their clients.

"It is my goal to bring therapists together to start the dialogue on how we use water when conducting our psychotherapy sessions. It is my goal to bring Aquatic Psychotherapy into the shallows of the consciousness of those who seek deep healing. It is also my goal to connect therapists with other individuals or organizations that utilize water to heal, soothe, and refresh their clients' minds and bodies.  It’s time for a tidal wave of innovation, sharing information and delivering Aquatic Psychotherapy as a tangible option to heal our clients from the inside out. Join me as we forge ahead and dredge up this most powerful element of healing...Water"

Inner-Tube Float Experiences

In this Aquatic Psychotherapy experience, participants use the natural flow of the Wekiva River as a setting for guided reflection, self-discovery, and personal growth.

Through a series of intentional river floats, participants are invited to explore thoughts, emotions, life experiences, and personal patterns while gaining insight into themselves and their relationship with the world around them.

Each experience is centered around a unique theme and may include reflection on resilience, life transitions, relationships, inner child work, personal growth, letting go, or creating a vision for the future.

Because sometimes the wisdom we're looking for becomes easier to hear when we're carried by the current.

Couples Kayaking

In this Aquatic Psychotherapy experience, couples step into the water to rediscover how to move together—physically, emotionally, and relationally.

Guided by the principles of the relationship theories and supported by the natural regulating effects of water, partners learn to navigate challenges, restore balance, and reconnect in a way that feels both grounded and lasting.

Because when couples learn to find their rhythm on the water, that rhythm begins to carry into everyday life.
